Gumboot Necklace (Hope)

Associated with the early Kauri gum diggers and symbolic of New Zealand's strong farming identity, the humble gumboot embodies the close relationship Kiwis have with the land and the great . This love for our trusty has sparked the small North Island town of Taihape to pronounce itself the 'Gumboot Capital of New Zealand'- home to a giant gumboot sculpture and host to the much loved annual gumboot competition!
From October 2022 until November 2023, 10% of every sale of our exquisite Gumboot necklace and matching charm will contribute to the Gumboot Friday charity, which aims to support young people 'stuck-in-the-mud' on waiting lists and provides access to counselling and private care.
