Babich Irongate Chardonnay has been produced since 1985 and has evolved into a richly flavoured, balanced and elegant wine. The vines from Babich now-famous Gimblett Gravels ‘Irongate’ Hawke’s Bay vineyard are pre-selected early in the season at pruning, and crop levels are closely monitored to ensure excellent flavour concentration in the Mendoza grapes. The result is a limited release wine that is built to last, with spectacular varietal and regional flavours.
