Sustainably made from 100% natural rubber, from the tree Hevea brasiliensis, Ecopacifier is softer and more natural than artificial silicone. The round shield lightly touches the child’s nose, simulating the soothing feel of breast feeding.

Ecopiggy’s Natural Pacifier, Ecopacifier, is made of 100% pure rubber from the rubber tree, Hevea brasillensi. These trees are sustainably grown in plantations in Malaysia. The rubber tree exudes a latex sap, the world’s primary source of natural rubber, which is tapped in a similar manner to maple syrup from a maple tree. After about 20-25 years the tree stops producing latex sap. The trees are then harvested and replanted. The harvested wood is used extensively in furniture, flooring, construction and even . From seed to tree to ecopacifier to wooden , the Rubber tree has an eco-friendly, sustainable and high quality life.


IMPORTANT NOTE:  All pacifiers should be replaced after 6-8 weeks, depending on use.  After this time, material to “relax” and the nipple may expand.  Once this occurs, it is likely that your child will begin to mold their own pacifier, making it difficult to replace with a new model.

Care
 Before use - Immerse your pacifier in hot boiled water for two minutes
Clean and sterilise daily
Do not wash in the dishwasher
Once your Ecopacifier has come to the end of its life, it can be composted! Because everyone’s home-compost is different, we cannot share specific details on time frame, etc. It is recommend you cut up the pacifier into small pieces before adding to your compost system. The smaller the pieces the better!
