The tubular latch is easy to install with minimal chiselling, these latches are suitable for residential doors with lever handles. The benefit of using these latches over conventional tubular latches is when fitted there is no need for a strike plate to project from the door jamb which not only looks cleaner but it also reduces the risk of ripping clothing when passing through doorways.
